Things that no one—including our pediatrician—had ever mentioned. My top 21 epiphanies, realizations, reluctant admissions, and random thoughts for 2021. Here they are in no particular order:

1. In the mind of the tyrant, tyranny is always justified.

2. The past two years of Coronavirus illustrate, if nothing else, the religious desire embedded in everyone’s DNA for rescue. For some, it was God, through their immune system. For others, it was Science, through a vaccine. Everyone needs a Savior, atheists included.

3. The last to fight will be the last to surrender. Coercion works almost all the way to the end. Until it doesn’t.

4. Complexity of technology makes it so that profound discovery only possible at this point mainly due to the collective horsepower of the hive mind. Heroic inventors will be a rarity.

5. Like Steve Jobs, Elon Musk is an extremely rare left-brained thinker with a gift for the abstract. The Asperger-like empathy deficits are necessary for driving people hard. Combine that with right-brained creativity and idea-connecting and you have someone special.

6. The left can’t meme because sarcasm only works when the actual truth is not the prevailing narrative. Sarcasm requires hunting for an unspoken truth by stating its inversion. By planting a seed. “Good luck with your vaccines” works better than “Vaccines are bad.” Give it time—the left will meme again.

7. All change is not growth. All movement is not forward.

8. We are becoming less intelligent. Music is the canary in the coalmine. The loops are growing shorter. The fact that I listened to more Hans Zimmer than Arvo Pärt is proof. The internet is pushing us in the wrong direction. If the medium IS the message, time to find a new medium.

9. Inequality is a feature, not a bug. We are all designed differently. Ages, races, genders. Embrace our differences. It’s the Olympics opening ceremony vs. the Apple 1984 commercial. Choose wisely.

10. People re-contextualize what they thought was wrong into being right. They rarely admit being in error but simply reframe their previous wrongness. If debated, they will suggest you didn’t clearly state your case or there was a missing variable neither of you accounted for.

11. You become what you hate. You hate what you become. This is why men fight wars. We must protect innocence for those who raise and nurture children.

12. The internet has created a generation of people who care deeply about that which they know nothing and know deeply about that for which they care nothing.

13. Men gather. Women distribute. This is why socialism and collectivist mindsets will always thrive within matriarchal cultures.

14. Crazy is often being right, but too early. The difference between prophet and madman is just a matter of timing.

15. The majority of people don’t want to be free. They want freedom, but not the responsibility it requires. This makes the United States a losing value proposition.

16. More data ≠ more rational thought. Just more conviction.

17. World war will be the first true test of cryptocurrencies. Many things break down in global conflict. Pinch points appear in places we didn’t know there were places. We don’t even know how the internet itself will hold up in world war, let alone crypto. Plan accordingly.

18. Christianity is evidently a more important component of stable Western civilization than many give it credit for. Even science and math—institutions we thought to exist beyond human whimsy—are disintegrating before our eyes without it.

19. There are seasons of human existence with conflict that require you to shift your focus. The Sermon on the Mount provides many lessons. So do the Psalms of David. Where are we now? It’s not always both.

20. A matriarchal system is incompatible with Western civilization. The extreme risk-aversion/safety-first mentality works great for seeing children into adulthood. As the top-down model of governance and/or morality, it will destroy nations. Tip of the iceberg right now.

21. Tribes will soon become necessary for those who want to preserve a way of life that runs counter to the world. Start finding your people now.

I wrote several months ago about how the world was forking—how you can divide most of humanity in half by asking them if they think if everyone was created equal, or if everyone was created differently. Where you fall on this one question can explain nearly all of the political strife and spiritual battles that are happening across the world right now.

I’m sure you’ve seen the latest vaccine discrimination orders popping up throughout the world. Slovenia, Latvia, Austria, and soon Germany (and possibly Czechoslovakia) are segregating the unvaccinated away from everyone else. Keeping them from public spaces, public services, and even gas stations in some cases. The worst things people like me were warning about years ago are now coming true. You can take your conspiracy hats off now. Crazy is just being right too early. And now that the time has arrived, I suppose we can no longer consider ourselves crazy.

I must confess this is all happening more quickly than I imagined. I thought it might take ten or twenty years but here we are, and except for the vaccine police strapping you down to a gurney and forcing injections into your body, all the dystopian nightmares we’ve envisioned appear to be coming true. That’s not good, obviously. But I’m hoping I can give you a little bit of hope. Possibly a lot of hope.

I’ve been a bit quiet lately here and on social media. Like a lot of you, I’ve been trying to figure out where things are going and try and stay one step ahead of the game. It’s not easy, but besides the timing of everything, I feel like my predictions have been mostly right about what was going to happen. Almost two and a half years ago I said that vaccines would be the wedge that splits this country apart and it’s looking like that might be the case.

Vaccine passports will, in all likelihood, morph into something far beyond any health-specific measure. This isn’t a prediction of mine, but something many people are talking about. In the same way that nature abhors a vacuum, those in government and other power brokers abhor freedom. Freedom, to them, represents a vacuum of power, something they must fill with mandates, dictates, and executive orders. And so it goes. Police are now roaming Austria, checking people’s QR codes on their phone to verify this or that person is considered “clean” enough to be out in public.

I’m especially concerned because the technology is in place to enable tyranny and oppression in ways the history books have never come close to. Tracking your physical whereabouts is the least of ways in which they may try to control you. Who you can talk to, visit with, even what you can buy or sell—all things up for grabs by those who seek to control you. With the combined efforts of governments and banks to digitize money, you’ll never truly have possession of a penny of what you are able to earn—it will all be controlled by them.

To add to the problem, we live in a feminized culture where fear and the promise of safety drive how nearly all decisions are made. Not to mention a complicit mass media machine that is working overtime to help drive fear higher and higher—something which is still working well. Mask mandates were recently lifted in the county I live in and just today I was inside the grocery store where nearly everyone was still wearing masks. I try to make eye contact with the emasculated men walking around in shame but they won’t even look at me. It’s really pitiful.

Many of you have probably lost your jobs already and are unsure what to do next. I’m in the same boat. I’ve been told I will be fired at the beginning of the new year. I was offered a religious exemption, but in the end, I couldn’t accept it. Besides being unwilling to get tested weekly (or at all), I couldn’t stomach being complicit in the charade in any way. I’m opposed to vaccines for a million reasons, and I don’t need permission from anyone or anything to refuse them. I realize some of you had to opt for the exemption and I won’t judge you for whatever decision you made. For me, my conscious wouldn’t allow for it.

So where to next? I mentioned months ago how we were going to have to separate from the “others” and form our own communities—actual physical groups of us who can support each other and recreate many of the things that have been taken from us. I just got an email from the state symphony, something my family enjoyed going to several times a year. We don’t travel much, but we made up for it with music concerts. But now, we can’t. We are unclean—unable to attend a single concert without a vaccine or all of us taking tests within 72 hours of a performance. You see these things happening all around the world but sometimes, it really hits home. Being forbidden to attend music concerts is one of those things that really stings.

And so, we will form a new symphony. It will be more beautiful than anything they could ever perform. We will form a choir. And it will make the angels weep. We will build new cathedrals and town halls and other things that negate every ugly and wicked thing they have tried to foist upon us.

Some of you have gotten in touch with me over and let me know you were serious about connecting with other believers with the possibility of forming just such a community. I was anxious to get something started but was waiting to see which ways certain states would go. However, given the speed at which many things are developing, I feel like we may need to move things along faster than I originally planned for.

I’ve been in touch with a couple of other groups of Christians who have already started forming these tribes in different areas of the country. It’s impossible to know right now where the best place to move is. I’m concerned about food supply issues, social unrest, and a hundred other things, but I can’t predict which geographic area will best ensure our survival. We are likely to pick a county that borders several other states—something which will hopefully provide a small escape hatch to secede into a more favorable state should the need arise. Unfortunately, with the increase in federal power grabs, the particulars of this or that state may matter less than it should.

In the coming weeks, I’m hoping—emphasis on hoping—to launch a new website to help you and your family find one of these communities. My hope is to help get many of these communities started and connected with Christians who are willing to move and make drastic changes to their lifestyle. I will be leading one of these tribes, but hopefully there will be many others.

I’ve often said this will be like the Amish 2.0, and I hope you can start to see that I was serious. Many of us are going to have to move. We are going to have to leave friends and family behind to form new communities, new tribes, where our faith is treasured and our beliefs are respected. Our children will marry, and we will form new families. Some communities may try to be completely self-sufficient, while others may be more integrated. Some tribes may have a particular set of beliefs that interest you—I’m interested in the absence of social media, for instance. While the notion of moving into a new community is stressful, I know that it must happen. I know that great joy and contentment lies on the other side. Most importantly, I know that God may be glorified more fully by us rejecting the wickedness of the world and placing our faith in him—so that he would provide for us and our families in a way we’ve never experienced. And that is my incredible opinion.

COVID vaccines have become part of an elaborate group initiation, a hazing ritual complete with all the tribal bonding that an intense fear of death or pain can create. Where do you stand? Which tribe will you pledge your allegiance to?

I’ve talked in the past about tribal economics. How having all the money in the world is not enough to leave your life fulfilled if you don’t need anyone and if no one needs you. I want to talk a little bit about how a new kind of tribe is beginning to form and why the COVID vaccine may become an important mark for which tribe you belong to.

Whenever you meet a new person, you will likely begin making subconscious judgements about whether they’re someone that could help or hurt you. This isn’t usually a matter of life and death, but a low-level friend-or-foe meter that’s running all the time. Is this someone I can trust? Is this someone who might could help me? Is this someone who needs my help? You probably don’t even think about it, but it’s being calculated behind the scenes by the lizard part of your brain.

These sorts of judgements take place in our everyday lives because we live in what is called a “low-trust” society. Not only do we not know our next-door neighbors, we might not even speak the same native language. This is the price of living in a multicultural society where most people have little in common with many of the people they might interact with. In a tribal culture, where people have most everything in COMMON with each other, the baseline level of trust is much higher. People leave their houses unlocked. They let their children walk to the park alone. They share meals together—inside each other’s houses, rather than standing beside a food truck. The friend or foe calculations are minimal.

In a prosperous nation, with a future that feels stable, people overlook the negatives of a multicultural society and accept the loss of tribe as worth the cost. When the future of your nation begins to feel in question, the desire to reconnect with a tribe will grow. Where stability is gone, most people will start to look for a tribe to provide it for them.

I remember the story of a friend of mine who was a pastor. He had been visiting somebody in jail for a few months, trying to break through the guy’s anger and violent rage to explain the Gospel message to him. Nothing worked. It was like he was a total stranger, even after ten visits. He’d noticed a pack of cigarettes that were always in the guy’s shirt pocket and asked him for one. The guy’s demeanor completely changed. It was like they were sharing communion. His guard totally dropped, simply because this tiny bit of joy the guy had living his life in prison—smoking a cigarette—could now be shared with someone else. It was almost like someone needed him and their relationship immediately began to mean something to both of them. Only THEN did the pastor, despite having already visited him ten times, feel like someone he could trust.

On the opposite end of the scale, I remember a time when I was at a friend’s house after having worked for months on a challenging project. We were all in, throwing everything we had into finishing, despite all the odds being against us. A party was thrown to celebrate and the tribal bond between us was running strong. The feeling of camaraderie was intense—until marijuana made an appearance. I don’t smoke marijuana—I’ve never even tried it, and I wasn’t going to start. I passed them up on their offer, and immediately, it became clear I wasn’t in the same tribe as them. I’m not a prude, I have a good time at parties and will hop on the piano or jump in the pool if the situation calls for it. But that didn’t matter—the fact is they were bonding over a treasured pastime, and I wasn’t participating. And something changed. We still liked each other. We still hung out sometimes. But I wasn’t part of the tribe anymore. This wasn’t something where they excluded me from anything. It was just obvious to all of us—me included. I wasn’t part of the inner circle anymore.

Even now, from me sharing this story, you have subconsciously made an assessment about whether you and I are kindred spirits. If you are someone who thinks of marijuana as an important recreational tool, you likely feel like I’m not as similar to you as you once thought. You may be thinking there are probably OTHER things we’re different on. On the other hand, if you don’t use marijuana either, maybe you like me more. Maybe now you REALLY feel like we belong in the same tribe.

This might seem trivial but recognizing and maintaining these bonds is important. This is why hazing rituals and group initiations are so common—you are often forcing people to need help and to help others in such a way they bond deeply with the other people in their group. Hazing rituals work because one of the most intense things people can bond over is a shared fear of something. This is particularly true for women and feminized men. It’s natural for them to seek protection within the herd, and when a herd is afraid of the same thing you are, you’re going to feel like that’s where you belong.

As I said earlier, I think we can think of COVID vaccines as part of a group initiation, a hazing ritual with the intense fear of death or pain.

For those that take the vaccine, they have a natural bond from having gone through what amounts to bodily mutilation—not just on the physical level from injecting needles into their body, but on a more profound level by injecting something that is capable of re-programming their body to do something it was never designed to do. To go through this procedure, despite the physical revulsion it might cause, takes a bit of bravery, and it links those have gone through it together.

Many people take the vaccine because they are afraid of a coronavirus infection. It doesn’t matter that the virus has a 99 point whatever percent survival rate, they have allowed the media-induced hysteria to get the best of them and because of that, they have turned to a particular tribe for protection.

And what does that tribe require? An initiation ritual—several injections of a very dangerous substance. If there was no danger, you wouldn’t see people gleefully posting pictures of band-aids on their arms all over the internet. They do this specifically because they know the vaccines to be dangerous and they want to prove their loyalty to the tribe. No one would care about walking over room-temperature coals. But light them on fire, and then people understandably are excited about having walked over burning coals. They share pictures and tell everyone how much their life has been changed for it.

COVID vaccines are especially interesting in that they present a similar sense of bonding for BOTH groups of people—those who take the vaccine, and those who don’t.

For those that don’t take the vaccine, avoiding what others claim is necessary to survive ties THEM together. While the other side may ridicule their recklessness, they revel in their bravery. In fact, the more careless and dangerous the others claim it is to NOT get the vaccine, the more those who DON’T take it bond together. The more they are persecuted, the more they lose their jobs and livelihoods and relationships with friends and family who DID take the vaccine, the more connected they feel to those who DIDN’T. Who wouldn’t feel an immense tribal bond begin to form with those who have walked through such fire alongside them?

COVID vaccines come at a time when the stability of our nation—even our world—feels shaky. People are beginning to look for the comfort and safety of tribes in all kinds of places. And the vaccines—whether you take them or not—provide the perfect mark for determining which tribe you belong to. And that is my incredible opinion.

Vaccines are not all about the money. In fact, they’re about something much worse.

I see a lot of people opening their eyes to the horror of mandatory vaccination and what happens when a government is essentially controlled by the corporate tumors that live inside them—defense and pharma being the most significant. Inevitably, when someone makes a connection about what is going on, they’ll roll their eyes and say “All about that money!”

Pharmaceutical companies ARE making a lot of money right now. I think Moderna, which had never made any profit before, has made over $20 billion this year and stands to make much more. Other pharmaceutical companies are making just as much. And not just vaccine manufacturers. Those who make tests, masks, and many other things, they’re all making out like bandits because of coronavirus hysteria. Presidents of these companies get promoted into the government agencies that are supposed to regulate them. These high-ranking government officials then get promoted back onto company boards and other positions of leadership, collecting hundreds of thousands of dollars along the way.

But, even so, it’s NOT all about the money. In the whole scheme of things, there are very few people who are making money from the coronavirus hysteria. They are making a lot of money, for sure, but the NUMBER of people making A LOT of money is just not that much. A couple of hundred people, maybe? A couple of thousand? Not NEARLY enough people to create the global hysteria we are now witnessing.

In Australia and New Zealand, where cops evidently just busted someone smuggling Kentucky Fried Chicken from outside their quarantine area (a 6-month jail sentence evidently), they have gone completely mad and are making even U.S. universities look reasonable in their responses. There may be high-ranking officials who are being offered bribes or book deals to push through mandatory vaccines or approve boosters, but the thousands of local government workers, law enforcement, and medical professionals are likely receiving nothing more than their standard paychecks. Yet they are taking part in some of the most over-the-top restrictions this world has ever seen. They are being attacked and threatened by those who disagree with these restrictions, and yet still they press on. Why is that?

Leave your mask at home and take a walk through any Trader Joe’s or health food store and you will quickly find yourself under attack. People who have likely never said anything to a stranger in their life will go out of their way to shame and scold you, videotaping everything in the process in hopes of humiliating you on the internet. These people are some of the most dedicated foot soldiers there are, violently responding to the slightest altercation. Yet they’re not getting paid anything. They put themselves in situations and do embarrassing things you could have NEVER paid them to do two years ago. They don’t care about money. So why are they doing it?

Another thing I often hear is “power” or “control.” They just want more power. They just want more control. Again, yes, that’s true for some people. But most will never see any more power or control in their lives for all the work they’re putting in promoting vaccines and trying to humiliate or ostracize anyone who doesn’t. I recently encountered a family friend who’s never spoken an unkind word to me or my family, who I’ve never spoken a single word to about vaccines or any other medical-related topic. They went out of their way to make sure I knew how dumb I was for not getting the coronavirus vaccine. It was really odd. Totally out of character and awkward. They didn’t say something to me because they were getting paid to. And they certainly didn’t say anything to me because they thought it would bring them more power or control.

So why did they say anything? If not for money, and not for power or control, why did they—and why do all the other millions of people around the world, the health officials, the police officers, the local government authorities, the school administrators—why do they say all these horrible things to people like us? Why are so many of them willing to lie about what are obvious scientific facts? Why are so many of them willing to overlook the reality of what these vaccines are doing to people?

It’s because they believe that they’re doing good. They believe they are helping people. They genuinely believe that vaccines saved humanity from certain destruction. They genuinely believe that vaccines are going to be able to make coronavirus go away. They don’t want to be evil, or vile, or demonic. But all sorts of horrible things can happen when humans try to do good.

I’m sure you’ve heard the saying, “The road to hell is paved with good intentions.” It feels like an over-used saying but it really couldn’t be more true. C.S. Lewis has another saying which is a bit more complex, but it’s one of the most profound things I think he ever said. You really have to take it in, because it’s amazing:

“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. They may be more likely to go to Heaven yet at the same time likelier to make a Hell of earth. This very kindness stings with intolerable insult. To be ‘cured’ against one's will and cured of states which we may not regard as disease is to be put on a level of those who have not yet reached the age of reason or those who never will; to be classed with infants, imbeciles, and domestic animals.”

That’s an amazing observation and particularly relevant today. To be cured against our will, against something we may not regard as disease, is essentially to classify us as domestic animals. Sub-humans. We know what’s better for you than you do, so you must do what we say. It’s for your own good.

This is the ultimate expression of pride, the greatest of all sin. Malice or wickedness or plain old evil in general will never be able to create human suffering like well-meaning idiots can. Guilt will eventually slow or stop the truly evil, but when others constantly praise you for your efforts and shower you with the reward of feeling good about yourself, the oppression conducted in the name of helping others will never end. It’s a truly horrifying situation.

This is why the concepts of liberty and freedom and private property are so important to the health of a strong nation. We value these things not as much because of evil dictators and tyrants, but MORE so because there are always more well-intentioned people who think they’re doing good ruining things for everyone else.

Vaccines ARE about money—for some. Mandatory vaccines and all that ARE about power and control—for some. But the real threat—the one that future nations MUST guard against—is the tyranny of good. And that is my incredible opinion.

The vaccine mandates recently proposed by the people who tell Joe Biden what to say are not legal and I want to tell you why. I am not a legal scholar and, in fact, would probably make a horrible attorney, but I’ve read a few things about these mandates that has me convinced they will not be able to be enforced—by the government at least.

If you’re not familiar with these ridiculous demands, they are saying that not only Federal agencies must get their employees vaccinated, but those who work WITH the Federal government as contractors. And not only that, if you have a business with over 100 people, you must also require your employees to have a coronavirus vaccine—or face weekly testing. Why is it 100 people? Was there a scientific study that suggested anything over 100 people would cause a dramatic virological shift? No, of course there wasn’t. It was just a number they picked out of thin air—a number which they will lower to 75 or 50 or 25 when the time is right.

As far as I can tell, this order makes no mention of whether employees who are working from their homes or are all together in the same office or who work in the field will also have to get vaccinated or tested. Those are details a tyrannical government just doesn’t have time to consider. And for those who have already had a COVID infection and now have natural immunity? Well, that doesn’t count, because it’s not a vaccine, and although we’ve had nearly two years to study it, we just don’t know how long coronavirus immunity might last if acquired naturally. It’s just too dangerous to assume it works as good as vaccines.

Many governors have already announced they will not allow these mandates within their states—27 of them at last count. They will challenge them in court and if the judges interpret the law as it is written (and as it has been recently interpreted) I don’t think these mandates will stand. It’s obviously not a given judges will do any of these things—as many of them are political hacks eager to use their power to forward their ideological dreams—but for now, we can hope things are done fairly.

When it comes time to determine whether these mandates are legal, there are two things the judges will need to look at. 1) Is this what they call a “major” rule? And 2) Has Congress clearly authorized this type of action?

Is this a major rule? Well, of course it is. It’s huge, likely to impact more people on a level than anything the Department of Labor—the agency that is supposed to enforce this whole thing—ever has or ever will do. It could affect over a hundred million people. That’s major. It could potentially kill them. That’s major. It could possibly cause lifelong illness and suffering. That’s major. As far as I know, there has never been anything remotely close to the scope and possible harm this would cause. There’s never been anything where 27 states announced they would challenge it or refuse to enforce it just days after it was announced. There is so much resistance and controversy surrounding these mandates there is absolutely no way you could say this is not major.

The second consideration: Has Congress clearly authorized this type of action? Well, absolutely not. The most commonly referenced piece of legislation is the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970—it is a significant piece of legislation, something that was just used a few weeks ago as the Supreme Court decided that the CDC’s eviction moratorium was not legal and should be stopped. Guess what? The Occupational Safety and Health Act makes no mention of vaccination, as far as I can tell. Congress DID give Health and Human Services vaccine powers in case of “significant outbreaks of infectious diseases” but the Department of Labor, who’s supposed to be enforcing these mandates? No. There has never been an authorization from Congress for the Department of Labor to do anything like this. Ever. At all.

If the judges who end up hearing these challenges to the vaccine mandates use common sense or logic—not always a given—there is no way these mandates will stand. They are illegal. Unconstitutional. Completely bonkers and should have never been considered in the first place.

Now, I’m guessing the people that tell Joe Biden what to say already know this. Either they believe they have enough judges in their pocket to get a meaningful number of state challenges to fail, or they don’t care if they win or lose, they just want to push the private sector closer to doing their dirty work for them. There will be many private companies, with employees over—and UNDER—one hundred, that will take a hint from their favorite overlords and enact these sorts of rules anyway. Even if the states do not require them to do it, they will still do it—something conservative darling Kristy Noem has already said she wouldn’t do anything to stop. You think they’re on our side? They’re not. They’re really not.

I believe Montana is the only state at this point that has already signed legislation preventing employers from asking your vaccination status for employment. Florida’s ban only applies to government agencies, not to private companies, if I’m reading the legislation right. So if you live outside of Montana, the mandates may fail but some of these companies may enact them anyway and the government will have gotten what they wanted without having to look like the bad guy so much.

A lot of people are concerned about these vaccine mandates—I know I am—but I want you to try and be patient and let’s see how these challenges play out. All of the drama surrounding mandatory vaccines may end up working in our favor. The number of people questioning vaccines—getting vocal about them and learning about their dangers—has grown so much in the last two years. There is no way we could have ever reached this many people and woken this many people up without something significant like this happening. People are angry, and we need them to be angry.

If you are anxious about how our country will make it through a conflict this significant, you don’t need to be. We won’t. Just know that. There’s no way we make it through this in one piece. We may end up on the other side in two pieces, or twelve, or 27, but either way, the America you have known—the land of the free and home of the brave—it no longer exists. The remnants surround us, the flags, a few Star-Spangled banners, some fireworks now and then, but there are far too many people that do not want what you and I want to actually sustain America. It is dead. It doesn’t look like it on the map, but with some X-Ray vision, you can see the cancer that has infiltrated our once great nation. Surgery is impossible. As has been said many times, you will never rid yourself of tyranny through the voting booth. It’s never been done before, and it won’t be done this time. These mandates, whether enforced by the government, or by private enterprise, will spell the official end of the United States. The public one—the one that people can see and admit to.

A new start will be required. A new nation, one committed to the same ideals that originally inspired America. A few updates will be required, along with a commitment to unity in all things over diversity, and maybe, just maybe, God will shine his face upon us once again and we will raise a new banner and sing songs of thanks for the nation our children are blessed to inherit. And that is my incredible opinion.

The world continues to fall apart and for those of you still able to think independently—or at all—I want to try and explain what’s going on.

I was raised under the impression that everyone wanted freedom. That’s why people risked their lives to come to the United States—because they wanted freedom. That’s why men fought and died in battle—to preserve our freedom. This may be already obvious to some of you, but what I’ve realized in the time since I’ve become an adult is that not everyone wants freedom, and in fact, MOST people don’t want it. They may want FREE STUFF. They may want freedom from responsibility. They may want freedom from being told they are wrong, or are dumb, or are not allowed to do something, but when it comes actual freedom, most people actually don’t want it. When you are truly free, your life becomes your own responsibility, and most people don’t like that. They want other people to take care of them. When you’re truly free, your family’s safety and well-being becomes YOUR responsibility, and most people don’t want that. They want to outsource it to the police. Government. Health officials. Anyone, but themselves.

It turns out there are only a small group of people who actually want to be free. When you have a country built upon the notion of freedom that’s full of people who DON’T like or want freedom, the nature of the country is going to change. It doesn’t matter what the law says, or the fancy pieces of paper you store in museums say—if the majority of the people in your country don’t want freedom, you are not going to have freedom.

America, at one point, was full of voters who treasured freedom. But several things changed that over the last 100 years. Giving women the right to vote was probably the single biggest blow to being able to sustain a free country. Most women, by their nature, do not want to be free. They are genetically disposed to seek help and protection beyond what they are able to do on their own. This is a feature, not a bug. It is the nature of men to offer this help and protection. The resulting partnerships should result in strong families, the sums of which are greater than just their parts.

When you give women the power to ask for help and protection through political channels, many will take to it very quickly. They will gladly give up nearly any freedom in exchange for the promise of they and/or their families being taken care of. That is their number one concern in life, naturally, something for which the sacrifice of personal freedom appears to be so far away that it doesn’t bother them.

You can clearly see this in feminist-run countries like Australia and New Zealand, where any semblance of freedom has been thrown on the trash pile in exchange for the promise of protecting their citizens from a viral infection. In a matriarchal, feminist society, safety is THE most important function for government. It doesn’t matter what you lose in the process. The ability to project out 5 years, 20 years, and say the cost of giving up these freedoms is not worth the cost—it’s just not going to happen with women leading government programs. It is not in their DNA to make these kinds of long-term decisions. “Do I feel safe, right now?” Every political decision is based on answering that single emotion-driven question.

Unfortunately, many of the world’s nations have transitioned into various forms of matriarchal, fear-based governments. Rather than concerning themselves with providing their citizens FREEDOM, they have become obsessed with providing them with SAFETY, no matter what kinds of freedom have to be given up along the way. This is an extremely unfortunate sequence of events because America once provided a lot of freedom for its citizens that wanted it. For the most part, it stayed out of the safety business and reminded people that it was your job to protect yourself and your family from harm. There were enough people in political office and enough people voting for them that understood this distinction to keep the United States a freedom-focused country.

Over the past one hundred years, America has nearly completed its transition into a feminist-led, matriarchal society that is driven by fear rather than freedom. Many men have been emasculated in the process and now look to the government (rather than themselves) to assuage their wives’ fears and need for safety. Unable to project any sort of masculine traits, the only comfort they can provide their wives is through voting for evermore safety-focused politicians and legislation.

This is a profound shift that is inevitable in any society or nation where women can express their desire for safety over freedom through political elections—particularly acute in societies where women are encouraged to live their lives free from the bonds of marriage or motherhood.

Women also have a natural instinct for agreeableness. For getting along with other people. It’s sometimes called the “tend and befriend” instinct—an anxiety-driven response that is completely the opposite of the male-centered “fight or flight” instinct. Women do not like creating tension and conflict. They try and avoid it. They try and find common ground. “Can’t we all just get along?” they might ask in a tense situation. Again, this is a feature, not a bug. We want our mothers and wives to be this way—within the domestic sphere. We do NOT want this as a primary feature of politics or diplomacy. We want to project power and strength, not weakness. It even ends up destroying other things like science or mathematics, fields of study that are rigorous and must hold up to academic scrutiny. If you propose a hypothesis, you must be ready to defend it if the data does not appear to support it. If you are a peer-reviewer, you must be ready to dismantle a hypothesis if the data does not appear to support it, no matter how much it may hurt the feelings of the person who originally proposed it. Emotion-driven science and math end up killing people through collapsed bridges or misguided drug approvals and a million other unintended consequences.

Agreeableness is a necessary component of domestic life but can be deadly outside of it. The desire for safety rather than freedom has led to tyrannical governments that will stop at nothing to achieve their goals and once free societies are suffering greatly for it. As we look to what the future might look like, a return to a patriarchal society driven by men who treasure freedom above safety will be necessary to avoid falling into the misery of the matriarchal nations we now live amongst. And that is my incredible opinion.

Today is August 10th, the second year of our Lord Protector Fauci's gain-of-function-driven pandemic and the world has gone mad. Lots of interesting things going on, of course: vaccine passports, mandatory vaccines, booster shots, and lots and lots of protests—hundreds of thousands in France, England, Italy, and other countries.

I had no idea there were so many anti-vaxxers in the world. They may insist they are not anti-vaccine but as you know, you are either FOR them or AGAINST them and if you suggest that forcing a medical procedure against their will is perhaps a bad idea, well then, you are AGAINST them and that makes you an anti-vaxxer. There are only two sides in war unfortunately. You can play Switzerland and sit out for a while, but eventually, it will come for you and yourn.

These huge protests have sprung up across Europe because they are making vaccines mandatory to participate in society. Currently, you can get tested to prove you’re not infected, but I think you have pay for it yourself and do it every few days. No telling how much money those people will be making but for a vaccine that apparently is incapable of preventing the spread of a viral infection, it’s strange to force people to take an injected medicine that may or may not prevent them from suffering the microbe’s worst effects.

Notice that I said “medicine,” rather than gene therapy—the term I had been using for these injections. I think it may help people understand the futility of what they’re doing if they realize these injections are just medicine. They clearly have little hope of having any real long-lasting effects, and if boosters are going to be required less than 6 months after the initial dose, vaccine is the last word I would use to describe these things. Now I realize that “medicine” insinuates you can stop taking them and eventually have everything go back to normal—something we’re not positive will happen. Regardless, describing these Moderna and Pfizer injections as “experimental medicines” rather than gene therapy may hammer home how poorly they actually work.

Not to insinuate that I care about people who have taken these injections under duress or regret their decision. I am done trying to convince anyone not to take them. I had a few months early on this year where I would engage with people about whether the vaccines were worth it or not but at this point, I have really lost all sympathy for those who have taken the shot. I always score real high on the empathy or sympathy parts of personality tests, too. I have extremely high empathy and sympathy—something which makes me working as a manager of other people a potentially bad choice (and the reason psychopaths fare well as CEOs). So for me to have essentially lost nearly all vaccine-related concern for these people says a lot about how far gone I believe them to be. They will never admit that you were right, and even if they were able to, it would just make them hate you all the more. Read “When Prophecy Fails” if you want to know more regarding what I’m talking about.

I think this partly a coping mechanism on my part, as many people very close to me have taken the shot without asking me a single question about them. For someone who has spent years researching and writing books about this particular topic, it might feel like a real stab to be so completely ignored on this topic. But I don’t feel that way. It’s just an empty sadness. The battle was lost long ago. Whatever your TV says, right? That and your doctor! If they’re both saying the vaccine is remarkably effective and completely safe, well then, you’d be a fool not to take it. I’d like to think they’ll learn their lesson one day but I’m not even sure that’s possible.

I’d mentioned a few episodes ago how we’re “forking” into at least two different societies at this point—those who worship the vaccine and those who don’t. Hopefully you can see what I’m talking about now. We’re going to need our version of everything sometime soon—from airlines, grocery stores, even hospitals and schools. I’m really curious how medical care is going to hold up under the mandatory vaccination push. Leg cut off in a bad car wreck and need emergency surgery to save your life? Well, unfortunately you didn’t get the vaccine, so we’re not going to be able to help you right now. That sounds like an impossible scenario but I imagine we’ll be seeing something along those lines in certain states or countries within a year. It will be really interesting to see how hospitals in the free states—like Florida or Texas—handle some inevitable boycotts from their pharmaceutical vendors. “Oh, you don’t make your patients get a coronavirus vaccine? Well we’re running short on anesthetics and have to prioritize them from healthy patients—you know, those who stand the most chance of living through their coronavirus infection?” It’s going to be real interesting to see how that plays out. Scary stuff, I know and I’m making light of it here but these are the scenarios we have to think about given that so few people seem capable of rational thought anymore.

Like a lot of you, I’m still looking to see which way certain states are going to go regarding mandatory vaccines. Besides the extremely liberal states, many others are probably trying to sit it out for now and hope that private industry can do their dirty work for them. I’m sure you’ve seen a few establishments here and there in otherwise “free” states post vaccination requirements. There will be more of this of course. I just caught wind of someone who was disinvited from their monthly poker night because they were unwilling to disclose their vaccination status. Weddings, vacations, funerals, jobs, concerts, conferences—all kinds of things are eventually going to depend on your vaccination status. So strange to see what the nightmare scenario I used to imagine years ago playing out right in front of us.

One of the other things I’m keeping an eye on is cash. Cash—the currency of freedom, they say. And because it is the currency of freedom, you can guarantee the powers that be are not going to support it for long. Now some of you might say “Bitcoin” or “Ethereum” or some other cryptocurrency but I think those will also end up controlled in some way. Even if you don’t know much about cryptocurrency, I’m sure you’ve heard people mention Bitcoin or the term blockchain. All you need to know is they involve digital currencies that are designed to be de-centralized in such a way that governments and banks can’t control them. This is a very good thing. I’m a huge fan of cryptocurrencies as an alternative payment system that negates the grubby hands of government and banking systems. As an investment? Not so much, but as a decentralized payment system that allows for anonymous transactions, I’m all for it.

The problem is, governments and banking institutions are going to try very hard to cause problems. They will come out with their own version of Bitcoin, like China has, and come up with some reason that this currency is necessary. They may continue to stir up controversy by saying Bitcoin is the currency of hackers and terrorists and that all kinds of horrible things are being funded using them. They will block and hassle the vendors that make cryptocurrencies easier to use. They may even block Bitcoin related traffic outright, forcing anyone who wants to use it through private networks and other technological hurdles. This is already happening in the United States. You can see many in government are uncomfortable with people being able to buy things without them knowing about it. For our safety, they will say, as they always do. I’m not saying there aren’t ways around all of this, but if there is a technology that severely lessens the power of government and banking institutions, you can guarantee there will be extreme resistance to it.

A few years ago, I proposed a new Constitutional amendment to protect Americans from just the kind of medical tyranny we are seeing right now. The founding fathers could have never imagined a world in which an entire industry yielded so much power over our government—dominating them so completely that they could force their products into citizen’s bodies in the name of public health. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get this amendment off the ground, and it’s still something that will need to be pursued, obviously, in the next iteration of America, whatever that ends up looking like.

I’ve thought a lot about what a new & improved version of the U.S. Constitution might look like and cash is another thing that is missing. Like medical tyranny, the founding fathers could have never envisioned a world in which each and every financial transaction was recorded and monitored for its purpose and participants. Had they known that was a possibility, they would have certainly forbidden it. They were extremely wary of the tendency of government authorities to abuse any power granted to them and giving the government control over any and all financial transactions would certainly be something they would have seen as incompatible with a free society.

Like all of the rights we enjoy as a free society, there are costs. Yes, hackers will be able to demand ransom payments anonymously. Yes, terrorists may be able to fund something horrible without it being detected. But that has gone on for time eternal and throughout the history of the world, no people have ever been terrorized by terrorists more than they’ve been terrorized by their own governments.

So because of that, I’m adding another amendment to my proposed Next America constitution. The government must provide an anonymous, unmonitored, untracked currency through which financial transactions may be completed freely. The government should not prevent the development or maintenance of private currencies. It is none of their business, no matter how much they scare you into believing otherwise. Just like trying to control the medical care of citizens, there will only be more harm and suffering to come from it. And that is my incredible opinion.

The Olympics are upon us in all their woken ridiculousness, and I’ve had a hard time watching nearly anything other than some old Tony Hawk X Games highlights—they’re much better than what’s on right now. Regardless, there has been some controversy surrounding the apparent quitteration and/or dropping out of the women’s gymnastics competition by United States superstar athlete Simone Biles.

She was expected to win a gold medal in everything she did and so everyone seems to have an opinion about whether she let her team down by quitting during the middle of the competition. I have an opinion about quitting during the middle of a team competition but I’m going to talk about something else related to this topic I haven’t seen other people cover.

And what is that? It’s the difference between men and women’s sports—a painful difference for those who refuse to see it or acknowledge it. If you’re new around here, I see the world as full of inequality—on purpose. It’s not a mistake. It’s not a bad thing. It’s a necessary differentiation in the complex machine of Creation. This means young people are different than old people. It means Asians are different than Hispanics, whites are different than blacks, and perhaps most importantly, men are different than women. Yes, shocking I know for some of you, but I believe groups are different ON PURPOSE, part of the design of things by God from the beginning of creation. These differences are not a result of the Fall. Instead, the REJECTION of these differences is a result of the fall. We reject these differences because we are full of sin. Our rejection of difference starts with our rejection that God is above us and goes downhill from there. I have a whole book called Unequaled on this subject if you’re interested.

Back to sports. The concept of sports is based around male competition. We are designed to protect our families with violence, if necessary. We are designed to win the affections of the most beautiful female we can find, often by displaying bravery and courage as an indication as to how easily we can protect them and their offspring. Thankfully, we have had the luxury of living in relatively peaceful times and because of that, males have no outlet through which to channel these sorts of activities. No way to signal to anyone how strong, how fast, or how brave we are.

Sports fill that void. They give us a safe way to develop athletic skills and display our prowess to each other. And sometimes—sometimes—they are fun. Not always, but sometimes. Sports are competition, and often those who win are those who are willing to suffer the most—physically and mentally. In the Tour De France, riders travel over 2,000 miles in just 23 days on bicycles through mountains. It has been said to be less a test of endurance or athleticism and more a test of pain management. Tour de France teams often pick their best rider and work together to protect that rider from crashes and help them to win. Younger riders hope they might one day be just that person, but know they must first put in the effort early on to help another win.

Other sports like tennis or soccer or basketball have these principles. Players must push themselves physically and mentally on and off the court to become stronger, tougher, smarter, quicker—everything—in hopes of beating the others. The goal is to win. Sports are investment in pain, the reward, winning. You may not be trying to impress your future spouse, or practice for fighting in war, but competition like this is in our blood, through and through. In societies without sports, fight clubs and other forms of dangerous violence will spontaneously emerge. This is an intractable feature of men. We should celebrate it, especially through sport. Especially those who are willing to invest in pain in the hopes of winning. These are noble causes, ones that translate into other aspects of maintaining a civilization.

Women are, for the most part, very different. Men react to threats of violence with the “fight or flight” response. Women react with what’s called “tend and befriend.” It is a rush of hormones that does something very different than fight or flight. This is why you sometimes see women befriending their attackers. They instinctively know they will not win a physical battle, so they may try something else that might work. I talk a lot about this in my book called Crooked, but we’re talking about sports here and this feature of the female species is beautiful and perfect and horrible for sports.

Women can be competitive with each other, of course, and often are, but thankfully their instincts are not to resolve their differences through violence. This makes the simulation of these resolutions—what we call sport—a poor choice for women. Now don’t be an idiot. I’m not saying that women aren’t athletic. They certainly are. I’m not saying that women can’t be fiercely competitive with a killer instinct. They certainly can. But these are exceptions, rather than the rule.

This difference in the way men and women approach sport really shouldn’t matter except that because the rest of the culture we live within has become so feminized, the male version of sport is becoming that way, too. Absolute victory, no matter the pain or suffering one has to put one’s self through, has lost the charm it once had. It’s not about winning. It’s about how you play the game. How many of you heard that a million times growing up in school? It’s not about winning. It’s about how you play the game. This is dumb. It’s now about how you play the game. It’s about winning. The whole point of sport is to simulate conflict and prepare you to win said conflict. Women play sport mostly to socialize, to feel good about themselves, get in shape, and a million other valid reasons, but men play sport to simulate conflict and prepare themselves for resolving said conflict—by winning. It’s that simple.

The feminization of sports has led to participation trophies, not counting goals in soccer games, and most recently, celebrating people who quit because they can’t handle the pressure of intense competition. This is what they have done with Simone Biles and I am absolutely fine with this—in female sport. This is what female sport is designed to accomplish: Comforting each other. Socialization. Inspiration. Sparkly leotards. But don’t bring it into men’s competition. We don’t need hugs when we’re sad. We don’t need trophies for losers. And we certainly shouldn’t coddle anyone who quits on their team. We will never win anything if that’s rewarded. And that is my incredible opinion.

The last week, even the last 48 hours, have featured some rapid developments in the interesting direction our world, or more specifically—their world—is going in. I really have some other topics I’m dying to talk about, plus a few listener emails I want to address, but the coronavirus situation is escalating quickly and it’s tough not to say anything about it.

As hysteria over the newest variant-du-jour continues to build, Greece, France, and England have made announcements regarding the future of your life in their countries if you refuse to submit to vaccination. In France, there were massive anti-vaxxer protests—tens of thousands of people—that filled the streets, angry about proposals to make health workers take these experimental gene therapy shots. I’ve always said that it’s the nurses that catch on to this stuff long before the doctors do. They’re the ones on the front lines that comfort suffering patients and get sneezed on when someone is sick. And so it is in France, as medical workers and those who care for them formed huge parades of people showing their refusal to submit to coronavirus vaccines.

France is a democracy of sorts, but the populace often votes with their feet, their fists, and their voices in ways that don’t show up in the voting booth. The French love a good protest and will not hesitate to skip work to make their opinions known about things. France’s president was so impressed with their protests he evidently backed off from the initial requirement, but I think he is walking that back already and it’s clear he was just trying to defuse the crowd.

In England, Monday was “Freedom Day,” when all coronavirus-related restrictions were supposed to have been lifted—a day that had already been pushed back a month once before, but this time it apparently actually happened. In a disturbing development, the prime minister of England, Boris Johnson used this occasion—“Freedom Day”—to suggest that in two month’s time, having a negative coronavirus test would not be enough to gain entry into certain venues. He said that you would have to be double-jabbed in order to get in. That means it doesn’t matter if you’re completely healthy, and apparently, it doesn’t matter if you’ve already developed immunity to Covid-19. No matter what, you will have to have the vaccine to get into certain type venues—a list of which will be sure to grow quickly.

One of the most disturbing quotes to come out of the conference is when Mr. Johnson said, “Some of life’s most important pleasures and opportunities are likely to be increasingly dependent on vaccination.” Can you imagine saying that, as president of a country, and not have some reservations about what that implies?

The White House press secretary suggested that the people who tell Joe Biden what to say are also telling Facebook what to say, or more specifically, what Facebook allows you to say. This seems extremely concerning to those of us who value the freedoms America once provided. The statement was creepy, like she said it on accident and didn’t really mean to let everyone know that’s what is going on but as it often is the case with Marxist takeovers, they have no shame or sense of guilt about what they are doing. They think they have the moral high ground and, as a result, don’t hold back or apologize in the least.

I’ve seen a few people parade around some charts showing the number of cases from the Delta variant of coronavirus increasing but the number of deaths NOT increasing as if that’s scientific evidence the vaccines are working. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that they’re no longer able to count motorcycle accidents and falling off your ladder as COVID deaths? Maybe it has something to do with since Trump is no longer in office, doctors can now prescribe therapeutic medicine again to help treat their patients. Remember that last year, pharmacies were refusing to fill prescriptions for certain medicines because Tony Fauci told them not to. What good is a vaccine if no one’s afraid of the virus? Maybe they’ll start finding flu and pneumonia deaths again. I suppose it’s likely they’ll appear out of thin air this winter, just in time to prove how effective the vaccines are at reducing COVID mortality.

As bad as the situations are in France and England and a few other countries, you should be extremely thankful the United States was set up the way it was—as an organization of states, rather than just a nation. Our federal government has far more power now than they were ever supposed to get—a problem that will eventually need to be fixed, hopefully not violently—but regardless, the whole point of the federation of states that the USA is designed around is to provide some elasticity and flexibility to varying beliefs. In a perfect world, the federal government has limited power and it is up to the states to rule on important things (besides war, treaties, and international trade).

Even with the ridiculously out of control federal government we must deal with, the system does still work—to an extent. Some states will resist the mandatory vaccines and masking and they will attract those of us who treasure our liberty above most other things. Hopefully, these states will repel those people who are too terrified to leave their house and wake up each morning hoping the government will save them from certain death. We will likely have a few choices of where to go, should things come to that and I’m guessing for many of us, things will come to that.

You can just sense the Delta variant hysteria building and I’m guessing it won’t be long before a state governor throws his hat down and says, “We’re going back to lockdowns.” Once that happens—even in just one state—all of the other effeminate governors will immediately collapse under the weight of groupthink and order their states to do the same. Keep an eye on this—it will likely determine which way states are going to break on the whole mandatory vaccine issue. If the state where you live goes back on a promise not to do any more lockdowns, you can almost guarantee that state will try to make vaccination mandatory eventually. If you are lucky and live in a state where they don’t, and despite the screaming and hissing from other states and public health officials and celebrities, the politicians stay strong and refuse to bend the knee to hysteria and fear-mongering, well then, you might make it without having to move.

I live in North Carolina and have an effeminate governor who is so eager to please those around him I can almost guarantee he will make some executive orders to get people to start wearing masks again, social distance again, and make sure to have plexiglass shields between you and the people you buy your groceries from. Like a moth to a flame, they just can’t resist the feeling of speaking words and making people do their bidding. Mask wearing has never done anything to prevent the spread of a virus but ironically seems to encourage its spread (through touching things after pulling, tugging, and adjusting your mask all the time).

If some of these states ramp back up their COVID-prevention measures, I don’t think they are likely to go back anytime soon. I think it will be permanent, or at least for a few years. I think they will hold in place until they can get mandatory vaccination executive orders enacted. If North Carolina puts these measures in place again, I think it will be time to start looking for a free state to call home. I hope that doesn’t happen, but it is something I’ve prepared for.

Unfortunately, this all has to happen. It needs to happen. I see people talking about vaccine passports and badges and bracelets as medical apartheid or segregation—as if that’s a bad thing. We need to break up—badly. This nation we live in can really no longer call itself a nation. We can’t protect our borders, we can’t agree on some of the most basic concepts expressed within our founding documents, and a large percentage of the people that live within our borders would destroy this nation if they could. That is not the composition of a functioning nation and it’s just a matter of time before other people begin to accept that.

As a patriotic American, it was very difficult for me to accept, but once I finally did and let go of what we once were, it allowed me to look to the future with optimism and excitement. We need to break up. We are in a dysfunctional relationship and are being used to sustain an economy by a parasite that hates us and wishes we were dead. So, I don’t mind the notion of anything which will help us quickly identify which side people belong. The masks are helpful in that way—they quickly let you know which side someone sits.

So as I’ve said before, sleep with your sandals on. I’m guessing the COVID restrictions are not far off for some of us in certain states, and depending on the way things go, mandatory vaccinations may not be far behind. The other side has never espoused a “live and let live” attitude, so I would make plans now for them making our lives very difficult. This MIGHT mean disruptions to food supplies, medicine, and other public utilities. I’m not saying you need to go full-on prepper madman, but it wouldn’t hurt to start thinking of how well you are equipped to handle difficulty. And that is my incredible opinion.

Good day, my fellow human beings, fighting the fight against medical tyranny, government overreach, and progressive ridiculousness. There is so much to talk about these days and so little time, but I have to spend a few minutes updating you on a few vaccine-related matters. As I—and others—have predicted, a new variant of coronavirus has surfaced and provided the impetus for the fear merchants in public health to try and gain back what they’ve lost over the past few months as the lockdowns ended and mask mandates were lifted. (I was finally able to get my concealed carry permit renewed, by the way, and am again happily strapped with my Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9 millimeter).

Before I do that, I want to update you on a few anecdotal stories I have come across regarding coronavirus vaccine-related side effects. In the three to four months since most people started getting the vaccine, I have seen—this is just in my personal circle of acquaintances, mind you, not stuff I’ve read about online—I’ve seen someone fall out of their chair at the dinner table, “passed out” or having seizures, not sure which. Another person had to be hospitalized with a blood clot in their lung. Another person has developed extreme pain and has difficulty walking because of “something” going on behind their knee (most likely a clot). Someone else has developed the symptoms of Guillain-Barré syndrome. Another person has developed a swollen lymph node and swelling in their foot—both possible symptoms of a blood clot. Another acquaintance, someone under 35 years old, “fell down the stairs” and died. Yet another acquaintance under the age of 60 and in good health fell and was unable to catch themselves. And finally, another young person, a long-distance marathon runner type, has suddenly developed a heart problem that will likely require heart-valve replacement. These were all, relatively healthy people who had the coronavirus vaccine and within a month or two began developing these sorts of problems. I may have left some out, as I’m just doing this from memory, but regardless, this vaccine is obviously extremely dangerous—much more dangerous than I ever imagined. And needless to say, all of these people seem to have zero suspicions that their ailments may be related to the Covid shots. It is truly painful to watch.

“Why didn’t you say something to me?” they might ask you once they realize they’ve been duped. “I did,” I’ll say, “but you wouldn’t listen.”

“Well why didn’t you get in my face and scream at me not to do it?” they’ll ask. “You would’ve stopped listening to me altogether and would’ve completely cut me out of your life,” I’ll answer. But they won’t believe you, either way. They’ll swear they would have believed you if you would have told them, but the reality is they wouldn’t. You can make them hate you by trying and trying and trying to warn them but once they realize you are right, they’ll just hate you even more. Now you can see what God is up against. Unless you’re a Calvinist. In which case, you can see what Satan is up against, I suppose. Just kidding, Calvinists.

The vaccine propaganda is on full display. The Teletubbies, fictitious creatures though they may be, have all gotten vaccinated (and earned their creators about $100,000 in so doing, I’m guessing). The West Indies Women’s cricket team all got their Covid vaccines but unfortunately, two of them were not able to make it through their next match and keeled over—fainting, they’re calling it. Rhodes College is going to charge unvaccinated students a $3,000 fee, and the people who tell Joe Biden what to say are apparently putting out feelers about working with phone carriers to censor or flag your text messages—yes, your private text messages, with disclaimers and warnings if you say something about the coronavirus vaccine they don’t approve of.

I’ve been saying this for years now, but if you think you can play the middle on this issue, you are delusional. If you ever say anything that starts with “I’m not anti-vaccine, but…” you are a fool who probably also says things like “but I have black friends” and “but I don’t hate anyone” as your church, your home, and your possibility of leaving anything meaningful for your children burn to the ground.

TurningPoint USA, a supposedly conservative organization, is fuming mad about college students being required to get a coronavirus vaccine to attend school. So far, so good. They’ve launched a fight against mandating vaccines for college students. Awesome. Super excited. TurningPoint USA founder, Charlie Kirk in an interview: “I’m not anti-COVID vaccination, and I’m not pro-COVID vaccination—I’m COVID vaccine agnostic. But I am 100 percent against mandating this vaccination.”

Well… that’s not exactly going to cut it, Mr. Kirk. I’m going to say this over and over for the next few years, I think. Peace takes two. War, only one. You can try to play nice and thread the needle and hope that no one hates you, but it won’t matter. If you do not support their agenda 100% completely, with no reservations, you are the enemy. You can genuflect all you want but it doesn’t make a lick of difference. Either you promote the vaccine as universal savior, or you are a danger to humanity. So, you can stop pandering and waffling and compromising and just embrace the truth—vaccines are unsafe and ineffective. They are more of a danger to humanity than anything cooked up in a Chinese lab so far and if you’re still living in a make-believe world where the polio vaccine and the smallpox vaccine saved humanity from certain destruction, I’m guessing you also believe that we’re all created equal, unicorns make the best pets, and loving your enemies always works.

As the new variant du jour makes it rounds—Delta, I believe they’re calling this most recent one—and it’s becoming obvious that in America there are A LOT of adults who will not be getting the coronavirus vaccine, the government health officials who believe that all nations should be subject to their medical whims and fancies are not happy. There’s growing talk of boosters, something we knew would happen. They are growing more angry and the call for mandatory vaccines is getting less whispery and more shoutery. I don’t know how this is going to play out, but as I’ve said before, I believe this issue will be the wedge that first divides the U.S. in two (or three or four). There are other issues of course, like racism and transgender-related things, that will fan the flames, but I think the first thing that will cause states to flat-out disregard or disobey federal law will be vaccine mandates.

I like to sport my “Good Luck with Your Vaccine” sticker on my truck and make fun of those lemmings who couldn’t recognize danger if they were being stuffed in a barrel on top of Niagara Falls but there’s going to be a point where even this kind of mockery isn’t funny anymore. I think things may get just that bad with the vaccine and the declining health of those people who got it. If you haven’t gotten a COVID vaccine yet, count yourself extremely lucky. You may be in the minority, but at least you haven’t joined that exclusive club from which there may be no escape. And that is my incredible opinion.

The problem with war is most people don’t even realize it’s happening until it’s over. It might be through willful ignorance or perhaps the bombs are just dropping too far away, but regardless, it is human nature to avoid or ignore the signs of conflict. I read an interesting article recently from someone who lived in Yugoslavia during the 1990s civil war and the author was desperately trying to reach those of us here in America to warn us about the costs of ignoring this kind of thing. There were tanks in the street, he said. Smoldering buildings. Body bags. And most people still refused to believe they were at war.

If you’re like me, you disavow political, racial, and any kind of violence besides maybe athletic competition. The problem is, many other people do not. They do not disavow violence, and in fact, they honor it. If you’ve ever seen crime statistics, particularly violent crime, you may have noticed that certain people groups consistently rank higher on these lists than others. All kinds of reasons will be given—poverty, homelessness, gangs, lack of a father figure, etc., but what’s interesting is the unspoken assumption that those violent groups are embarrassed about their numbers. That they want nothing more than to get their murder and rape counts down to resemble other people groups.

I wish this were the case, but unfortunately, it’s not. Some groups are perfectly fine with those high numbers and in fact, would be ashamed of their group if they were not. The people I tend to hang out with value dialogue, finding common ground, and trying to resolve conflict peacefully. These traits, which have defined my people group for hundreds of years, may be seen as weakness by others. They may be viewed as vulnerabilities that can be exploited.

I’m going to say it one more time, to make it extra clear: In the same way you value peace and diplomacy, other people groups value violence or intimidation. You may celebrate a great diplomat winning with the Nobel Peace prize. They may celebrate a tyrant who shows no mercy to his enemies. You may celebrate the opening of your new business. They may celebrate its ransacking and being set on fire.

These are stereotypes of course. There are a few people here and there who do not fit this mold, but regardless, stereotypes are one of the most useful tools a human being is capable of employing to stay alive or to keep their family safe from harm. You might think of it as pattern recognition and recognizing patterns of behavior is becoming more and more important these days.

The fact of the matter is some people groups are less likely to engage in peaceful dialogue about a source of conflict and are more likely to resort to violence—long before the thought of beating someone over their skull with a bike lock might have crossed your mind. Because of this, when other groups begin resorting to intimidation and violence, a peaceful group like the one I belong to is extremely reluctant to recognize there is legitimate conflict going on. They may volunteer in a related charity and wake up one day in the hospital having been raped or beaten within an inch of their life by the very group of people they were trying to help. And still—they will wonder what they did wrong, what line they crossed that may have driven others to hurt them in that way.

One of the first things any political party in power does to encourage political violence is to de-criminalize those people who break the law like this. That might include letting certain people out of jail, turning a blind eye to criminal activity, or refusing to prosecute those who’ve been charged—usually on a ridiculous technicality that allows a district attorney to claim innocence. With the threat of jail removed, thugs and thieves can go about their business with impunity—provided they target the right victims, of course.

These very things are happening right now. Certain people groups are being allowed to commit crime without penalty. Others who’ve been charged are either getting the lightest sentence possible or their charges dropped outright. This is the way war often starts—political violence committed under the guise of regular citizens angry about this or that. It’s state-sponsored violence, of course, but us humans just don’t want to see it. We don’t want to believe anyone would purposefully allow something like this to happen.

If you don’t pay attention to this sort of thing, you should go ahead and start keeping a very close eye on where we are headed. You should be aware of where you are, and what other people may be doing around you. You should be aware of where your children are going to be, especially if you are unable to keep an eye on them. Those people groups who tend towards violence and intimidation are growing in number and in bravado. Their time spent in jail is seen as virtuous, anyway.

Things are declining fast, and I’m guessing by this upcoming June or the next, there will be a new flag flying over the White House. It may only be up temporarily, but my guess is the stars and stripes will be viewed as too divisive to even display. They’ll claim it to be an act of “unity” to remove the American flag from over the White House—"a symbol,” they’ll say, “of hate and racism that will only rub salt in old wounds.” I am guessing that over the next couple of years, the Juneteenth concept that progressives have recently become fascinated with will become the de facto national holiday for them. They refused to issue fireworks permits to allow a show at Mt. Rushmore this year and I can imagine this sort of patriotic censorship will continue—all under the guise of peace and reconciliation of course. It may take a couple of years, but before long, the July 4th celebration, like our national flag, will be declared too divisive to continue. The ‘Star-Spangled Banner,’ ‘My Country Tis of Thee,’ and all the other American hymns will be retired in favor of new, politically correct songs.

Perhaps one day as you sit in your recliner on July the 4th and wonder why all the patriotic specials disappeared, you’ll consider we were once at war—and somehow you missed it all. And that is my incredible opinion.
